About: Jamme / Sixteen / Blindsided

I am a lying junkie.

Watching this reminded me of the first time I watched Blue Valentine. Probably, because both films have the similar plot line or so I think. Although Like Crazy wasn’t as heart heartbreaking as Blue Valentine (I swear, the part where all hell broke loose aka Ryan and Michelle started fighting, I was bawling like a baws), it did somehow make my heart ache.

But, it was a very beautiful film, everything-wise. It was so beautiful that it’s impossible to hate it in spite of the bittersweet ending. It’s not a perfect love story. It just so happens that it started to be like one. But, then circumstances came and everything went down like a domino. Although they found their way back to each other, they’ve grown distant. Now, I’m not even sure if they’re happy but atleast they’re together. It somehow shows the reality of what most relationships are like now.

“I thought I understood it, that I could grasp it, but I didn’t, not really.”
